Net Zero Buildings awarded place on the ESFA framework

Net Zero Buildings is delighted to announce it has been awarded the first of only three highly coveted places on Lot 2 of the ESFA secondary blocks modular construction framework.

The new Construction Framework is designed to support the delivery of the ESFA (Education and Skills Funding Agency) school building programmes and is available for schools and local authorities to use for their own projects.

Rating highly in the technical and overall cost evaluation, Net Zero Building will be developing three new multi-million-pound projects in Doncaster, Kettering and Birmingham all due to complete in 2019. Collectively, the schemes will deliver over 3,000m2 of mixed-use teaching space, replacing dilapidated buildings with brand new energy efficient modular environments.

Neil Smith, CEO at Net Zero Buildings, said:

“We’re delighted to have been awarded a place on the ESFA secondary blocks modular framework. This is a major milestone for Net Zero Buildings and look forward to working with ESFA to transform the speed, cost and environmental impact of all new school buildings.

At Net Zero Buildings, we are creating a new sustainable and environmentally friendly building solution which won’t further damage the environment for future generations. In fact, we are helping to reverse climate change”.
