Business Development Advisor (Part Time)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Job title: Business Development Advisor

Reports to: BDA Team Supervisor
Hours of work: Part Time (12 to 15 hours per week) Office based

PURPOSE

  • Part Time (12 to 15 hours per week) Office based enquiry generation for our Modular Sale business.
  • Action Business Development by proactive telemarketing against an agreed client sector growth plan to promote the company products.
  • To ensure customer database is continually updated and focused BDA campaigns are conducted with the objectives of securing increased year on year profitable business.
  • Process any leads or enquiries in terms of adding them to company database and/or contacting them to ascertain suitability for us to do business with.

EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS & TRAINING

  • Previous experience in a telemarketing environment
  • GCSE Maths & English minimum
  • IT literacy of Microsoft suite of packages including, Word, Outlook, Excel,
  • Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management software desirable (CRM)
  • General product knowledge of modular & relocatable buildings desirable
  • OWN TRANSPORT ESSENTIAL

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Completion of specific Telemarketing Campaigns as directed.
  • To make a minimum of 300 calls per month.
  • Undertake e-mailing of brochures etc as applicable.
  • Assistance with pro-active calling prospects from on-line Tender sites.
  • Assisting with the professional handling of incoming enquiries including the routing of enquiries.
  • Process any leads or enquiries in terms of adding them to company database and/or contacting them to ascertain suitability for us to do business with.
  • To be guided by Team Leader on prioritisation of workload for forthcoming week.
  • Maintain a professional attitude at all times when speaking to prospects and colleagues.
  • Actively follow formal processes put into place as part of ISO9001 – following Premier Modular processes.
  • Attend F2F and Online meetings as and when necessary.
  • Undertake any reasonable request when given by a member of senior management.
